Senior Paid Social Planner

We are looking for an analytically minded Senior Paid Social Planner to focus on media planning across paid social. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative, fast growing agency team working for a large client in the telecommunications vertical in the context of a multi-channel, data driven approach. We are looking for a smart, passionate and experienced individual who wants to be part of an innovative team in our rapidly growing Boston office.


  • Manage digital media buying and planning through all steps of the planning process, from RFPing, partner evaluations, partner scoring, negotiations and final execution
  • Responsible for the strategy, execution, performance and reporting of paid social campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Leverage first party data for targeting and insights
  • Coordinate assets and tags with vendors, ensure campaigns are delivering against KPIs, and proactively manage campaign execution
  • Responsible for overseeing client pacing and performance across digital media portfolio
  • Media planning based on brief parameters and media strategy
  • Act as a paid social expert on campaign performance and optimization, providing insights into the best strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives
  • Recommend forward thinking strategies and innovations
  • Proactively work with client on campaign set-up and optimization strategy
  • Work with our analytics team to provide dashboards and analytical insights to the client


  • At least 4 years of experience in digital/media planning, with at least 2 years of experience in paid social 
  • Must have in-platform execution, campaign management, and trading experience, setting up campaigns and pulling levers in key platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Snapchat and Instagram experience a plus.
  • Experience working in B2B is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Passionate about social media and the technologies used to support digital and/or mobile advertising operations, including ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, and third-party ad tags
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional client communication, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to proactively organize daily tasks
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, but also can work well in a team
  • Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
