From Q1 2015-Q1 2016, we ran a US-based multi-channel campaign for a leading renewable energy technology company. The client's Residential Digital team sought to drive unprecedented lead volume within a predefined, finite target market. The client was up against stiff competition to get in front of high-value consumers, many of whom were living in regions where energy tax breaks were coming to an end. Other challenges included increasing brand awareness and consideration among the client's niche audience and to show measurable results in lead volume, brand lift, and clear ROI across all channels.

DWA developed an integrated digital media program to create a competitive advantage for the client.

This program included:


  • A competitive analysis to understand the landscape of the client's top markets, including competitors' media programs A mix of search, programmatic, and social advertising strategically deployed against proper stages of the program

  • A test and learn methodology to identify high performing tactics

  • The creation of a measurement infrastructure that enabled performance tracking and correlation of media across all channels

Overall, DWA's execution achieved a 527% YOY increase in lead volume. To understand the campaign's impact on brand awareness and consideration, DWA monitored branded search volume, which showed a 363% YOY increase. The campaign also drove a 39% YOY increase in direct site visits.
