Alexandra Walker has made the 10-and-a-half-thousand-mile journey from DWA ANZ to DWA EMEA; and despite being a native of Australia, she’s familiar with the city and the EMEA landscape having worked in London from 2002-2003.
Alex is returning to London fresh from three years in the DWA Sydney office, of which she was one of the founder members. Having been quickly promoted to senior account manager in DWA ANZ, Alex was personally responsible for marquee accounts and managed a team that together looked after 17 key clients. “I am delighted to be back in London and it’s amazing to see how many similarities there are between the UK and Australia markets and yet how many new opportunities exist to both drive new client opportunities and at the same time to grow my career.”
Google adwords (GAP) qualified and proficient in buying across all media including TV, radio, digital and Out-Of-Home, Alex enjoys the digital skew towards the work that she gets working at DWA, servicing purely technology clients. With a career background that includes DDB, Initiative, MPG and Millward Brown, and with her international DWA experience, Alex is perfectly positioned to contribute to the growing DWA EMEA office and looks forward to helping add new logos over time in addition to advising her current clients in a strategic capacity.
And her longtime goal? Selfridges shopgirl, of course. |
