Prestigious Award for Virgin Media Business Campaign

Technology specialist media agency DWA has been awarded “Re-brand/Re-Launch of the Year 2010” for their work on Virgin Media Business at the annual Drum Marketing Awards. “We’re thrilled to be recognized with this award, as it’s testament to the creative thinking behind our media strategy and the effective execution through online and offline media vehicles,” said Chris Bagnall, DWA EMEA Managing Director.

The campaign was put together with partner agencies Speed and The Game Changer and was designed to make a big impact in the market following the re-brand of ntl Telewest Business. A one-minute TVC was produced as the central campaign theme and different cuts of the spot were used across a fully integrated campaign including online, digital out of home and print media.

“The results of the campaign and rebrand were astonishing and surpassed even our highest estimations both in terms of measureable media metrics as well as the uplift of key attributes associated with post campaign research conducted,” said Chris.

The judging panel for the annual award are made up of senior client-side marketers from across EMEA, representing a number of different industries including IT, online, sports, entertainment and travel. The Drum Marketing Awards are now in their 5th year.
